Church @ the Park received funding to stand up a managed micro community in rural Polk County. They are under contract on a property on Holman Ave in Dallas.
The site will be staffed 24x7x365. The existing house will be used to provide on site support to the guests using the shelter. This will include case management, behavioral and physical health supports, and site management.
The proposal for this location is to place five 10×40 trailers on the property, each with several bedrooms and a bathroom for a total of 16 households and 40 beds. It will be low barrier transitional housing for adults/families with connections to rural Polk County who are screened and meet the criteria.
